1) networking works a lot! Get to know some of the people in the industry!
2)dont write a blog...lol...how funny
3)NO TWITTER! some companies even ask now if you have a twitter or a facebook. Its popular for companies to check them out to see what their hiring:)
4) Dont nag about your boss or your previous job!!
5) make sure you have a good idea of what your talking about!!
Some many more then other thing will stand out to a company...:)
